Nw i realli gt hw ppl realli feel when dey receive a call frm e hospital goin..n mine went smth lik this.......
Me: Hello..
Hospital: Hi, i'm calling frm Changi General Hospital. R u in any way related to Mrs Ng Soh Tin?
Me: Um..yea..? I'm her grand-daughter..
Hospital: Oh..Um..is your mother or father @hme den?
Me: Um..no, bt wad is this pertaining to? n hw cn i help out??
Hospital: Oh, um..ur grandmother have been admitted into hospital. She is currently in critical condition due to stroke. You might want to give your parents a call so that they cn cme dwn n fill in e necessary form.
Me:
(voice shakey) Ok, sure no prob. bt where is she nw?
Hospital: She is under-going an opperation nw, her frenz brought her in and r w8in outside of e opperating theatre. You just gt ur parents 2cme dwn ok?dun worry

A Million thins r runnin thro my head s my parents head dwn 2 e hospital n me ordered 2stay @hme 2 giv my uncle in bangkok a call 2let him kno of my grandmothers situation..I was soo nervous dat smth might happen 2her durin e oppertion as well as pissed dat my uncle wasnt answerin his phone..I men wad cld b mre importnt den this man?PICK UP UR DAMN PHONE!!.. After dat I kept buggin my mom n dad by callin dem evry few mins 2 ask wheather my grandmother was out of e operation theatre oready, n whaether she was ok..Luckily dere was no1 @hme hence it gave me a chance 2 cry alittle..This was e woman who was much closer 2me than my own mother eva was..she was oways dere 2bak me up when my parents scolded me..n she was everythin else in between..we were v.close (altho we're nt related by blood)..so u cld imagine hw shocked i was dat she was in e hospital..
Finally,when i gt news frm my parents my mom delievered e horrible news: SHE WAS HALF PARALYSED!! O.m.G! i realli duno wad 2do..if u say its bad news,its nt xactly bad news, cos @least she cld still talk n move on e other half..bt if i oso cnt consider tis is s a gd news..she's PARALYSED fer gods sakes!! Haix..Wad a wae 2 begin e new yr..=(
